About the CKB AI Scholarship

The CKB AI Scholarship is an initiative from the Nervos Community Catalyst, open to all existing and honorary CKBuilder members. It provides builders with access to subscription-level AI models to give them the best possible assistance when learning and developing on CKB.

By lowering technical barriers, improving efficiency, and — when used thoughtfully — helping developers understand CKB development in greater depth, the scholarship is designed to help every builder get the most out of their time in the programme.

CKB-AI MCP: AI-Assisted CKB Development

By adding additional context through CKB-AI MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI tools can be fully harnessed to unlock a builder's potential. This integration allows AI models to understand CKB's architecture, tooling, and ecosystem at a deeper level — providing answers and guidance that go far beyond what general-purpose AI can offer.

Scholarship Levels

Level 1 Share-AI

Available to all CKBuilders. This tier provides access to a shared AI platform, giving every member of the cohort the ability to use powerful AI models as part of their learning and development workflow — at no personal cost.

Level 2 Individual Claude Sponsorship

Builders who are working on approved projects can apply for a stipend to fund their own individual Claude account. This enables more focused, uninterrupted development with a dedicated AI environment tailored to their specific project and goals.
